Vaasa, Finland

- All are welcome to participate in this event -

All beings everywhere are invited to join us for this global distant healing event, starting at 5 pm GMT/UTC on Wednesday, 28 November. To check the starting time in your part of the world, go to this link at the World Clock.

It will be starting and ending during the duration of the Lunar Eclipse, and we will also be linking with the 51st Full Moon sacred site attunement of the Grand Maya Itza Council for a sacred site in the region of Vaasa, Finland (more info below).

Ruins of St. Maria church in Vaasa, Finland

This is a special event focusing on our animal brothers and sisters, as individuals and on a collective level, and on our relationships with animals.

The treatment process will be facilitated by Edna Spennato, located in Bahia, Brazil, with eleven surrogates anchoring the healing energy and releasing unneeded energies in Brazil, South Africa, Ireland, Austria and the USA, on behalf of all the participants and the collective consciousness.

The event is also a fund-raiser to support the ongoing pro bono work being done by Earth Heal in Brazil, with injured and homeless animals and abandoned litters, and the distant healing work done for animals and for refugees, victims of war and disasters, and indigent, homeless or disadvantaged people. For more info and to make a donation to Earth Heal, please go to this link.

Participation in the event is open to anyone, anywhere in the world on a donation basis. Those who cannot afford a donation are included on a pro bono basis, and asked instead to give some bread or provide a meal to someone in your area who is hungry. In terms of being able to receive on a personal level, it is important for us to be able to give as well, and to feel that we always do have something of value to give, not necessarily something with a monetary value.

To be included as a participant, please send the registration form to earthhealadmin at gmail dot com before 3 pm GMT/UTC on Wednesday, 28 November 2012.

More about the Lunar Eclipse
24 November 2012

- December 2012 will find most of us in the midst of complicated, occasionally frantic and crucially important changes in our lives.

Many will come up against at least one seemingly impenetrable obstacle - a total deal-breaker. But in each case, a discussion, an encounter, a realization, or just some experience, will unlock a new potential in ourselves or bring a breakthrough in negotiations that allows us to proceed, confidently and with renewed enthusiasm. (December’s forecast takes into account the end of the Mayan Calendar.)

Solar changes
23 November 2012

 - Our Sun is currently undergoing a number of unusual changes that must be observed continuously.

"The magnetic canopy of big sunspot AR1618 is crackling with M-class solar flares," reports spaceweather.com.

As the sunspot evolves, so does its intense magnetic field--and this means strong flares are in the offing. Fast-changing magnetic fields on the sun have a tendency to reconnect and erupt. NOAA forecasters estimate a 70% chance of M-class flares and a 15% chance of X-flares during the next 24 hours.

The Maya Full Moon attunement for the sacred site at Vaasa, Finland

Old Vaasa, around 1840. Johan Knutsson. From Swedish Wikipedia

The Grand Mayan Itza Council will be making a journey in spirit to a sacred site (exact whereabouts unknown) in the region of Vaasa, Finland on 28 November 2012, the 51st in a sequence of 52 ceremonies leading up to the Full Moon of 28 December, 2012. This attunement is the 12th in the last of four 13-moon cycles which began on 13 November 2008.

We are asked to join them in sending our collective love and healing to Vaasa during the full moonrise in our own part of the world.

Vaasa was inhabited by the Sami in ancient times, the "people who walk with reindeer", whose culture has too many similarities with the North American Sioux spiritual tradition to be a coincidence.

"The ancient spiritualities of both cultures contain the same fundamental ideas and use virtually identical symbols to convey those ideas.  Both spiritual traditions metaphorically describe the Sun as the father of all and the Earth as the mother of all.  In both spiritual traditions, the symbolically masculine Sun represents the father-like central source point which is transcendent of the transitory physical world of the four directions.  In both traditions this eternal consciousness or source pours into the field of time through the symbolically feminine mother Earth and is characterized through a vast array of gods which are all ultimately part of this one mysterious thing represented by the Sun.

"For the Sioux and the Sami, all of nature is viewed as being “alive”; they both possess an animistic perception of the universe.  Their worldview is thus radically different from a modern perspective, emphasizing a sacred connection and interdependence of all things— including their prey and their enemies.  Sioux society was primarily based on the buffalo, from which they derived everything they needed to survive.  The itinerant patterns of the buffalo forced the Sioux to live nomadically in impermanent settlements, and their existence as a tribal unit was based on the movement of the buffalo herds.  The Sami were herders of another animal, the reindeer, whom they developed an almost symbiotic relationship with over many centuries.  As the Sioux did with the buffalo, the Sami always made maximum use of the reindeer as food and commodities were often scarce in the harsh winter environment.  It is as impossible to separate the Sami from their reindeer as it is to separate the Sioux from their buffalo and a deep bond of dependence and spiritual connection existed between each pair...

"For many hundreds of years, the Sami have faced encroachments by the Norwegian, Swedish, Finnish and Russian governments which have attempted to assimilate the Sami, levy taxes on them, divide the land they once freely roamed and impose restrictions on movement between borders.  The Sami also faced more violent and overt forms of oppression, especially in Norway and Sweden, where in the early part of the twentieth century the Norwegian government implemented efforts to wipe out Sami culture. Additionally, the Sami faced confrontation by roaming groups of armed warriors known as the Tsjudes.  This conflict is the focus of Nils Gaup’s 1987 film Pathfinder.  Though based partially on legend, as a work of art the film contains many scenes which capture the heart of the Sami spiritual philosophy and its resilience in the face of adversity...
