Feedback from participants after the event
On 1 March, Earth Heal hosted a
group distant healing event for animals and for the
relationship between animals and human beings. There was a total of
243 participants around the world, about half animals and half people. The treatment process was facilitated by
Edna Spennato in Brazil. The energy was anchored with the help of
seven surrogates in five countries, and continued for almost five hours in total.
The participants
As a group of beings working together for
our own personal healing as well as the healing of the whole, our
intention for this event was to
provide support for the animal participants and to provide the crucial ground
support needed by the non-physical beings of light who guide the treatment
process for the highest good for all.
Our role as a group is to
anchor and ground the incoming healing energy and to
release through our bodies the disharmonic energies which are cleared on behalf of all the participants and the collective energy field, or morphic field, of the planet.
Many of the participants reported that they and their animal friends experienced
powerful energies and sensations during and after the treatment, as well as noticeably intense
detoxification processes in the days following the event.
Excerpts from the
feedback received after the event is shown below.
You are invited to
join us for the Equinox group healing event on 20 March 2014. More info will be posted here soon.

As this was my first time I had no idea what to expect. You know the feeling when someone strokes your hair or shoulders and there is a tingly feeling... that was the initial experience. I then felt someone had their arms placed around my shoulders and the feeling extended to my forearms, like someone was holding me. It was a physical feeling and felt very real. At the same time I felt a sensation of heat and tingling in my back and the solar plexus region. I then developed a raging headache, in fact it made me feel ill. There was a sense of pressure on the top of my head as if I was being pushed or pressed down with a hand. After this initial feeling of pressure I had a sensation of buzzing, fizzing and then Sleep!!! Fantastic!
I drink a lot of water anyway but I have been extremely thirsty and I still am. As I'm writing this, I have a headache, but I feel waves of warmth, energy... It's a lovely feeling.
Last night or early this morning... I dreamt of J..
(participant's cat, who disappeared a few weeks ago). He came to the door and walked into the house. I picked him up, I felt his fur. He was warm, purring and he touched my face with his paw. It was him, I felt him. I don't know whether he was saying goodbye. M.
(participant's husband) is convinced he was.
B.
(participant's 14 year old daughter, who was also included) slept very well - very, very dopey and quiet. Which is good, as sleep is a problem. (She had a) headache, but it's now gone. Today she has been laughing and has eaten!!! We have not had to persuade her, so that is such a good feeling. Being a vegetarian anorexic is quite hard, especially when she restricts her intake and type of food as well. So, quite an experience.
M. is very tired ( as always ) but is actually looking quite well today.
Thank you Edna, and all the lovely people involved in this wonderful work you do. For B. especially, I feel this is important and will help with her anorexia in a very positive way.
...I felt this healing was of great significance for us, especially
me, as I have felt very depleted energetically... I am a healer myself
(and a senior nurse practitioner ). The energy I felt during this
healing session was exceptionally strong I have never experienced
anything as intense and certainly wasn't expecting the level of
'power', that I felt. The feeling I have now is I am 'balanced' or
being balanced. I can't think of a better word to describe it. I feel
this energy is still here, not as intense, but certainly present. I have
noticed as well today that colours are more intense, very much like
after having a reiki session. There were flashes of bright colour
accompanying my headache ( and pictures of trees)? Not like a migraine
aura, lots of green.
...I know this really was incredible and
much needed. It's amazing how if we ask, the Universe will give us
everything we need and no more or less. This is just what I asked for
and it was given to me. Thank you so much Edna, this has been the most
wonderful experience...
I've been in a very dark place spiritually for a while...I feel you have helped me to move on and gain strength, and B.
(participant's daughter, who has anorexia) - she ate again tonight!!

On the evening of the event, about 5 minutes before the start, I stood near my horse, bringing myself to a state of awareness and groundedness and “called my horse in” by calling his name softly and sending him waves of healing light and energy.
My hands felt very warm and as I opened them towards the horse
(who is 21 years old and has not been well lately), I felt strong pulses of energy emanating from my hands. My horse stood very still, almost mesmerized and then leaned his head on the stable rail and almost fell into a trance. He was very quiet, still, and his bottom lip was rather crunched up against the rail as if he had fallen asleep. He was in this state for about 10-15 minutes. After that, he behaved normally and 3 hours later, was eating quite voraciously.
He seemed in good spirits and was eating and drinking well. He is a big eater so it was hard to really see if he was consuming more or less food. His drinking increased.
On Sunday afternoon, I was overtaken by a stronger than normal lethargy and rested. I was much the same on Monday where I felt very drained all day, and went to bed early and slept very deeply. That day, my horse passed worms in his stool (this was not evident in the other horses) and I was elated – to me this was a clear sign of cleansing. On Tuesday, I also started “the runs” quite unexpectedly which lasted about 2 hours and then stopped. I also felt this was a sign of cleansing for me.
My horse seems in good spirits. I still feel drained and tired. However, I feel much more emotionally and mentally alert.

We have just come back from the stables having done our little celebration! We did some walking around in the yard with K
. (a 21 year old horse who was included in the event. He had been in pain and not able to work for a while, and seemed to be feeling worthless before the treatment) and did some neck stretching work with all four horses in the stable, followed by treats. K. also did some feet lifting, with rewards. He loves showing me how well he can do that!
I was with a friend who remarked, unprompted, that K. was a lot more cheerful. He was very perky and almost "bargy" - showing confidence and being rather forthright. His legs seem stable and he is certainly showing no sign of pain. He is eating voraciously and so are all the horses. At dinner this evening they ate fast and finished all their food quickly. It's almost as if they did not get lunch (which they did of course!) - Note from Edna: it seems to me that the other four horses also got drawn into the treatment healing field by the sounds of it, just as the horse's owner did, as he experienced a detox etc. afterwards.
I will take him out walking on a lead on is own in the next two or three days. This is often a test of his self assurance and confidence. I will let you know how we get on!

I've been lapping water like a dog who can't get enough.

For two days before the event, I needed to have long sleeps in the late afternoon/early evening, lasting 3 - 4 hours each time. Perhaps this is why I did not become sleepy during the actual treatment process yesterday, and have not felt a need to sleep more than usual since then either (most unusual for me!) I have been drinking a lot more water than usual, though!

I hadn't thought of it, but I didn't feel sleepy either, as I usually do.

Yesterday
went well - tuned in, giving permission to make the best use of me,
grounding as much as possible and releasing the rest... Hope all went
well for everybody and some great clearing's occurred.

Friday evening, I could not keep my eyes open. Felt like I was walking
around in my sleep in a very dense fog. Saturday the same feeling hit me
at around 11am. This kept up and I eventually went to sleep at about
9:00 pm
(2 hours after the start of the event in SA).
Sunday morning all was good and well!! So whatever it was, it shifted , and am feeling quite "normal" again .

I was quite pleased not to experience my usual need for many hours of extra sleep following the event this time... till early yesterday evening when suddenly - BAM!- around 7 pm, I started to feel as though I had run a 50 mile marathon followed by singing a 9-hour opera in D-minus. I was TIRED! And thirsty. Not able to keep my eyes open another 5 minutes, I downed about a gallon of water, headed for bed and slept soundly for 11 hours. This morning I feel 'normal' again, and have lots of energy.

I wanted to share some good news about one of the participants in our event...this poor dog pictured below. The pics were all taken the day after our 1 March event. My son first noticed him in the village a few weeks ago.
As the pic shows, he is in terrible condition, unlike most of the other homeless dogs here, who are usually just thin and mangy, but not like this.
He is still very young, and it seems he has never had a home, or any decent nutrition. But apart from being starved, he may have leishmaniasis, which is an incurable wasting disease quite common in this area.
We have been taking food to him every day, though it was not possible for us to bring him home and care for him here, as we already have 8 animals here, all rescues, and cannot test the patience of our very tolerant landlords any further. It was heart-breaking to see him day after day languishing in the village.
At the start of the event, I put out a special focus for this dog, though it seemed that it was asking for a real miracle - for someone with a kind heart to take him home, adopt him and take good care of him. Clearly, the likelihood of anyone adopting a dog in such poor condition was extremely low, but somehow .... a few days after that, it actually happened!
A couple of nights after the event, as we were feeding him, a man living here came up and started talking about the dog. It seems that he had also noticed the dog and been concerned about him for a while, and that he had been thinking about adopting him..... but he needed some encouragement. And when he saw us feeding the dog, and was able to talk about it to us, he decided to do it.
So that night he took the dog home, and on Sunday I saw him again and he told me the dog is doing fine. He has been de-wormed, is eating well, has access to fresh water and food all the time, is getting a lot of love now, and has a safe place to sleep where nobody is going to chase him away. He has a new chance at life, and let us pray that his body is able to recuperate. He is such a lovely-natured dog well, with kind, grateful eyes.
So - for me, this is really a miracle!! Thank you to everyone, embodied and disembodied, for the part you played in helping to manifest it...!

I've been experiencing quite intense feelings of despair and empowerment while positioning myself in the economy in SA and taking note of environmental issues at the same time.
This video set the tone for the last week for me, especially the whale jumps at the end of the video.
The chameleons in the garden, the new pair of rats, and subsequent return of the male rat to the shop have been a continual focus. We have now got a female rat and a hamster in our family...
(During the treatment), I got a strong sense of our connection with animals, and the special role we as humans play. The close connection between humans and their environment shows really strongly in the indiginous tribes of the amazon and the plains indians of the new world. The Suami, the mongolians come to mind too, and in contrast I note our post colonial attitudes to the environment in my community. There is some healing to be done. As a family we have been creating habitat for vulnerable beings, and our collective sustained efforts are paying off in rich nature communion experiences.
I've been watching Loyd Pye's Everything you know is wrong, and was reminded of how weirdly humans are adapted to terrestial life, and how we have been around since only recently (200k years) how it seems we have developed/evolved our nervous systems/instincts somewhere else than earth. I read
Gods of the Millennium earlier this year
, and it made a deep impression.

It was very unusual - I saw many wonderful faces and heard lots of
voices - mostly kitties, but some dogs. I felt almost like Maugli - "we
are the same blood - you and I"!

of clearing, I guess. But we did win two prizes at an Open House

It was a
very, very strong treatment. In the beginning, lots of pain and agony
came up which then calmed down. I felt lost, very airy-fairy, and had a
very sad and deep pain coming up. Abandonment.
And now this morning I am grounded again and myself. Last night I
was very sad, letting go of a lot of things. Z. was visiting and when
she was leaving, deep sadness overcame me. She found the neighbour's cat
outside and brought her to me, saying then you won't be so lonely. I gave
her food and she sat at my computer and I will send you a picture how
at home she felt. She lay on my table whilst I was doing computer work....
I also sent my energy out to all the animals of my neighbours.

S.
(a little dog who participated, who has been ill lately and lost her appetite) is still alarmingly thin. But very perky today. Leaps about in welcome. Nice change.
S. used to be very perky when people came home.
These days it's nice when she is up and wagging at the door. Like today.
Did notice (that she is drinking) more water...
For some reason I am unusually tired this afternoon.
Midrand, South Africa
Personally, this event was very
powerful for me, but it is the first time that I did not lay down and
sleep for a bit of it. We had a guest come by that I was not expecting... I had some intense moments that quickly
dissipated upon focused breathing. I am sure my guest may have thought
me a bit weird. ha! ;-)
Our cat slept through most of the treatment and had a big appetite
after waking. He was not much for playing the day of the event and not
until about the second half of Sunday. We had an unexpected guest visit
us for a few hours during the treatment, so our dog would not relax and
lay down. She followed me everywhere (we decided to remain outside and
enjoy the weather) and received a lot of extra loving for reassurance as
she seemed nervous. After the guest left and I went back in the house,
she quickly laid down and took a very long nap. Sunday, she slept quite a
bit but also enjoyed being outside and was pretty active for her.
Saturday, I awoke with a lot of energy. After tuning in and setting
intentions, I sat with each animal and we just focused on each others'
company. During the event, I definitely felt some major releases even
during the distraction of our guest. I did not have much of an appetite
most of the day, and could feel a major detox physically as well. I did
get fairly sleepy early in the afternoon... I slept very well that night.
Sunday I felt energized and my appetite came back around midday...Sunday night
was another night of deep sleep for us all - even our cat remained in
bed most of the night (usually spends time outside while we sleep).
Monday morning has the animals and I both energized, but feels like a
good nap may be in order this afternoon for us all. Many thanks to all
involved for such a wonderful event!

P.

Monday, both our cat and dog seemed to have insatiable appetites. They also continued to drink quite a bit of water. We put some old oak logs by our dog's bed last night
(being close to wood for a few days was advised for dogs as a follow-up after the event) and she is choosing to stay there to nap for now.
The cat visits outside often (we have a lot of birds on our lot with a lot of trees) and I played some nighttime nature sounds
(sound harmonics was advised as a follow-up for all the animal participants after the event) and he stayed in bed with me again all night. Our cat got up early and was eager to go outside while the birds sang this morning.
I woke up with a dull headache, but ready to go! More water is the plan for today and my appetite seems to be coming around. Overall, we are all doing well and sense some relief for our dog's bad hip, and the cat is coming back around to bonding with us again after a little distance needed for the last few weeks.

M. said she noticed a difference with S.
(her cat) and her ears. She had not known that S. was going to be included, yet she flashed that something was different.
J.
(a pigeon who was included in the treatment) has been cute and hanging out at the house. This morning he called me to the bathroom and I ran some water for him and he had a little splash bath.
Kalk Bay, Cape Town, South Africa
...At the beginning of the event, I had a haircut appointment, so did my 'connecting' preparation prior to leaving home. M.
(participant's cat, who was included) was here alone for the first 1 1/2 hours, comfortable and relaxing. I 'felt' energy the entire time while I was away, and got so hungry that I had to stop for some protein on the way home. Yet I was so 'sleepy', I drove home very carefully and as quickly as I could! When I got in, M. was knocked out, sleeping; I had to lie down, and he joined me on the bed. We stayed that way till well after noon - in fact, I was so 'spacey', I just stayed there rest of day and went to sleep early that evening.
M. and I both drank a lot of water that day and over the next few days, including today actually. And, he got very insistent about having the water faucets running in both bathrooms so he could drink from them (most unusual!)
Since then, he seems bit calmer, not as agitated with the 'nerve twitching/tail chasing'...
My daughter lives in Ft. Lauderdale, FL and has 2 cats, was working that day and I had not mentioned any of this to her beforehand. She called me after work, around 8pm her time, and told me she had gotten so sleepy at work (exactly when the event was happening!), and just wanted to lie down on the floor and go to sleep! She said, she was thinking, "I got enough sleep last night - what's wrong?" Then I told her... Her 'babies' were also drinking lots of water and were very "needy" - wanting to be cuddled, and they slept a lot as well.
...Besides feeling exhausted for a couple of days, I did do some crying (not sad - just a 'releasing' feeling)...
All in all, I feel 'good' - staying positive, joy-filled, "expecting miracles"! :)

P.
(participant's cat) is doing well, ornery as ever... He's been snuggling up to me a lot more over the past few days, putting his paws on my mouth. I blow hot air into them, which he seems to enjoy. He is even more loving with J., coming up to him... J.'s hand has definitely improved...
